31st Dec 07 at NYC [纽约]- New Year's Eve

we arrived at Time Square early in the afternoon, but instead of proceeding to the waiting area for count-down, we decided not to waste time and decided to head to the Empire State building instead for sunset viewing. I reckon that is an unwise choice because by the time we reached Time Square in the evening, the place is so crowded and most streets are closed by the police.

we bought the new year props before we head to the Empire State building.

at the top level of the Empire State building
magnificent scenery of the whole Big Apple!

by the time we arrive at the scene of Time Square, it was so crowded and we couldn't even get a view of the main stage which is a dozen blocks away from where we were. so we sneaked out of the barricades despite the many cops patrolling around that area and we sneaked from 57th Street to 49th Street. That is indeed a huge accomplishment, yet the main event is on the 43rd Street and there's indeed a long way to go. Nonetheless, we decided to wait on the 49th Street since we couldn't get any further
during the long wait to 2008, we took lotsa random pictures to stall time
my last picture with my dad's scarf! I actually lost it during the count-down :'(

see what i mean by us being so bo-liao? Correction, I mean they being so bo-liao!
