Visited the donuts factory yesterday... We get to watch the complete procedure of the making of donuts, which are all done by the machines. My cousins get all excited about it even though they had gone there many times. Haha. There are free samplings of donuts too... Yummy. And my aunt ended up buying a dozen of donuts for breakfast.

One of the difference between USA and Singapore is that their services always come first. Take the donuts for example, the workers would inspect all the donuts first before releasing them to the customers and whichever donuts are not up to satisfaction, they would dump it into the trash. As the donuts are not manually made, there are so many donuts which cannot make it because they are not nicely presented. Either there is a minor cut on it or the donuts are not fried evenly. How can they waste food like that? My aunt actually asked to sample the 'cannot make it' donuts but the worker said that it is their regulation not to give to CNI donuts to their customers and that they would give us a nicely made one.

Other than that, unlike Singapore, all their goods can be exchanged for a new one if it is no good at all. Thoughts such as "Are you nuts? We do exchange goods too in Singapore!" may come across you mind right now. Wait, let me elaborate further. Indeed, in Singapore, we do exchange clothes for the right sizes, nevertheless, we are not allowed to exchange for food if it was half eaten. Normally, the first instinct of Singaporeans when such incident occurred is to throw the food away and buy a new one. But in USA, if the toys or whatsoever goods is damaged over a period of years, they still do give you a new one to replace the old. For example the other day, My aunt opened a bag of baby carrots and realised that it tasted weird so she went down to the supermarket and ask for a new one. The person at the cashier dumped that bag of carrots away without looking at her receipt and asked my aunt to get a new bag! My aunt told us even if the packet of food is eaten by a 3/4 amount, they still exchange it for you. Amazing right?

In addition, you wouldn't believe what I'm going to say next, but it's true! My aunt told me she saw this black woman eating fried chicken drumsticks. There were initially 8 drumsticks on a plate and when she got to her sixth peice, she went to exchange for a new plate because she found blood in it. And she managed to get a new plate with 8 drumsticks on it!! That is so awesome...

USA practices freedom of speech so anyone could complain or protest against anything. In order to prevent boycotting from the public, the quality of the goods and services in USA really matter a lot. So it makes sense why most people prefer goods produced in USA.

Anyway, My mum and I took a walk at the downtown of Naperville. The streets are beauitful and we took a few pictures there. There are many pubs along the street. We had our dinner at a cafe and the food tasted not bad though.
