The Master said, "What is there in the world to think about or to deliberate about? In the world there are many different roads but the destination is the same. There are a hundred deliberations but the result is one. What is there in the world to think about or to deliberate about?"

I never like changes, especially when it violates the serenity I used to enjoy in life. Being a typical spoon-fed Singaporean, my route is carefully paved by my parents throughout my 18 years of living. Now I have to make a major decision, which concerns my furture endeavour, with insecure apprehensions. No doubt I'm still uncertain about not following the orthodox path.

Vanessa shared my sentiments. She told me that pursuing a degree overseas ensures a higher prospect than taking a degree from a private university in Singapore. I'm aware of that too but I'm not exactly ready to survive outside all by myself. It takes courage, discipline and most of all, independence. However, I'm dismay to say that these 3 factors are lacking in me.

I have always admire people who never conform to the society, instead, they follow their hearts and go after their interests. I will never be able to do that; forsaking a degree for music or dance. As much as I love the arts, I may still pursue a degree which could benefit me in my future job(s).

So bye bye dance, bye bye fashion deisgn... I pick Mass Comm over u guys...

If you don't like something change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it. ~Mary Engelbreit
